This year we are losing several teachers, coaches and our principal due to retirement, and other job opportunities. It is always difficult to replace those individuals who have made such a big difference in the lives of our students.

Even though I regret losing some of our staff, I look forward to the opportunity to bring in quality individuals to replace them. As of Friday, we have hired two individuals to join our staff. The first individual is Jason Lee. He will be our boys basketball and track coach. Jason has been working with Coach Kneipp the last several years while driving the House athletes over to Grady to play ball. I am pleased with the smooth transition as we replace Coach Kneipp with an individual who has been familiar with our boys basketball program.The second individual hired as of Friday, is Mrs. Tandee Delk. She will replace Miles Mitchell as our principal. We will miss all the good things that Mr. Mitchell brought to our campus as the principal.  I know that many of our staff are excited what Mrs. Delk can bring to our staff and students as the instructional leader. We look forward to her leadership as we begin to implement the new Common Core Standards that have been required by the state.
